As for Sarah Palin, “I don’t understand, even in the tough world of politics, why there continues to be such an assault on a good and decent person,” McCain said. “I admired and respect her. I’m proud of our campaign….I thought she was the most qualified person.”
When Fox host Chris Wallace mentioned that former McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt has said that the movie is true and that he regrets being involved in putting an unqualified candidate such as Palin on the ticket, McCain said: “I regret that he would make such a statement.” read more at Politico
