This issue has bothered me for many years. The UW has also participated in building campuses in the Saudi Kingdom. These effort are always justified in the name of liberalism being spread, but the taint of money is frightening, especially in a nation that forbids the public practice of any religion other than Islam, where foreign Muslims are imported as slaves without rights, and where their own education system teaches a version ofr xenophobia that gave birth to bin Laden and 9/11.
