Where the “new” tuition dollars are going

University of Washington director of undergraduate admissions Philip Ballinger announced that the university would be restoring the 150 slots for resident freshman that were cut earlier this year as part of a cost-cutting move.

The University intends to continue the overall growth of the freshman class to 6,000 over time. This autumn we expect a class of roughly 5,800.
