Good news for those women aspiring to win a Nobel Prize.  Prince Carl-Philip of Sweden is an available bachelor.  The prince, second in line to the Swedish throne after his sister Viktoria married her  personal trainer  has a graphic design degree, and studied at the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, the Ave’s sources tell us that Sweden does not plan to offer a Nobel Prize in graphic design.  This is disappointing to those of us who relish the pomp and circumstance of the world’s premier academic award ceremony since the thought of a wedding cum Nobel ceremony is very intriguing.

The contrast with the glory that is the Olympics is all too telling.  The venues for those “Nobels of Sports” rotate from country to country and each host country gets to add its own choice of sports to the Olympic competition.  Give Sweden’s unique rile in academic awards, it is tragic that the Swedish government does not get the same privilege.

If the novels are to remain hosted in Sweden, it would onle seem fair to allow the host country to add Graphic Design to the current set of Nobel prizes!
