BUCHENWALD 75: A Lesson In How a Family SHOULD Remember the Camps

Amy Thetford's photo.Given the horrid behavior of my brother ans sister toward my father’s memory, destroying I was deeply moved by this FACEBOOK post:

Hi everyone – I got married last week, and I just wanted to share my favorite picture – it’s me wearing my grandmother’s old kitchen robe, with my mom embracing both me and the robe. I had mentioned before that my grandmother was a holocaust survivor and had the most beautiful strength and spirit I’ve ever known. She passed when I was in a coma and I always longed for closure. I’m not sure I got closure on my wedding day, but I really did feel her with me in that robe.
