Make Amazon offer podments instead of parking spaces!
Imagine if Amazon’s expected thousands of nerd employees wanted to buy cars! Where would they park? Read about the debate here.
Sure, Jeff Bezos and company can build parking spaces under the worker hives, BUT … why not build underground podments instead! Employees living in company owned bed boxes would never need to leave ! They could work longer hours and eat for free in Amazon’s legendary employee free food cafeterias!
Incentives could include double beds for really successful worker types or, even corner suites with two sleeping capsules for .. well you know, even Amazon’s workers gotta have sex!
Of course Amazonians would be encouraged to shop downtown as well … instead of the expensive Microsoft Connector busses, the loyal workers could use their identity badges for free fares on the SLUT and its successor trolleys running from the Amazon towers to all parts of the new downtown! Of course, the trolleys would offer hi speed wifi, for free!
Best of all, the pod dwellers would become successors to the market bums, attracting tourists … imagine tours of Amazon with folks from Indiana admiring the pod dwellers as they work in the tree filled domes!
