On his recent one-day trip to Greenland, Don Trump Jr. didn’t meet with government officials; instead, he discussed the Danish territory’s future with Timmy Zeeb (photo, left), who is featured in President-Elect Trump’s “Truth Social” post here.
Sporting a Trump “MAGA” hat, he said, “Buy us, we don’t want to be colonized by the Danish government anymore.” I wonder if Zeeb, a convicted drug dealer and prison escapee (see story here), is angling for a better deal from Trump.
Given Trump’s eagerness to pardon the violent insurrectionists who tried to overthrow America’s government, maybe when Greenland is a state he can get leniency too, as a reward for subverting his people’s independence.
A member of Greenland’s parliament downplayed Don Jr.’s visit, saying he met with no government officials, and his entire visit was a staged photo-op. There are reports that some residents gave him the finger, and others posted “Yankee go home” on Facebook (see story here).
