While making Canada a U.S. state is just a fantasy, were it to happen, that would give Democrats a massive advantage in the Electoral College and House elections (see story here). And, by the way, if you were going to do that, why should all of Canada, which has 10 provinces, be a single state? Shouldn’t it be 10 states?
