SH 2-106, aka “Celestial Snow Angel,” is a nebula about 2,000 light-years from earth “in a relatively isolated region of Milky Way galaxy.” At its center is a massive young star (story here, more details here). In this picture, you can see why it’s likened to a snow angel.
