I’m very skeptical. For one thing, I don’t believe Trump actually likes J. D. Vance. In any case, they’re already married, and bigamy is illegal, which would invalidate their marriage license.
I think Vance depicting himself as Trump’s wife (read story here and see image below) is just more of his weirdness. Trump, for his part, can’t just say, “Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!” He’s gotta politicize it (see story here).
By the way, the map depicts the (mostly rural) counties Trump won. This is juvenile posturing; dirt doesn’t vote. America’s population is concentrated in a few urban counties, and despite what the map suggests, Trump got less than half the popular vote in this election.
