Who brings you Whidbey Island Ice Cream?

The Freeland, Washington, boutique maker of  highly rated ice cream was started in 2008 by Ron Hecker but he retired and sold the business to the Rosens (pictured at left) in 2017 (article here), who were already involved in pizza and sushi businesses.

At six bucks a pint in local groceries, their ice cream isn’t cheap, but it’s there for those who can afford the spare-no-superlatives best. If you buy some, you may want to hire guards to get it home safely, and lock it up when you get there.

I wonder if Jeff Bezos has pints helicoptered out to his yacht in the mid-Atlantic?
