This miniature railroad was built by an investment banker on a 2,000-acre Missouri family farm. Construction took eight years. He died in 2008, the property was put up for sale in 2018 (asking price $12.5 million, railroad included), and sold in May 2022. The new owners dismantled the railroad, with the locomotives and other rolling stock going to various other miniature railroads, mostly in California. It was fun while it lasted.
