In Maine, a white man was arrested for threatening a black family. See story and mugshot here. According to Wikipedia, Maine is the whitest state, with nearly 95% of its population consisting of non-Hispanic whites, and only 1.2% blacks (details here). So I guess they’re not used to seeing black people there.
In Minnesota, a white man who murdered his wife and tried to blame it on a black intruder was sentenced to life without parole. See story and mugshot here. Nice try, dude.
In Texas, a white man convicted of murdering a George Floyd protester posted on social media that he hoped to “get a negro,” and made other racist comments. See story here. Gov. Abbott, a Republican, wants to pardon him but needs the parole board’s assent to do so.
