Cupp, a TV political commentator who describes herself as a “mainstream conservative” (see profile here), explains in the video below why “no one should care” about GOP outrage at Trump’s indictment. Keep in mind it wasn’t the D.A., a Democrat, who indicted Trump but a grand jury of ordinary citizens. The GOP argument that the charges are politically-motivated is ridiculous. Those citizens were persuaded by evidence that Trump committed one or more crimes. The Republicans upset by this have no values other than partisan advantage, no morals at all, so why should we care what they think? She doesn’t, and I sure don’t, either.
