If you mention a Chevy pickup’s gear ratio in the presence of Republicans, you’d better get it exactly right, because they’ll set you straight. They know it to the second decimal point.
But for some strange reason, when Republicans talk about elections, they’re incredibly careless with facts. Take, for example, GOP candidate Abe Hamadeh who ran for Arizona attorney general on an election denial platform:
Not quite. As Phoenix radio station KTAR points out here, the judged ordered the recount results sent to Hobbs’ office (here). Doesn’t Hamadeh, a lawyer, read the court orders in his own election case? Of course he does. By the way, a different judge tossed out his baseless election lawsuit (read that story here).
Republican voters intensely care about pickup truck specs (I’ve never met one who didn’t); but neither they nor their party’s candidates give a hoot about truth in political matters.
