Mike Pompeo, who was Trump’s secretary of state, wants a big promotion. He wants to be president.
A reporter asked him who the most dangerous person in the world is. I know what you’re thinking, and everyone else is thinking it, too.
Having dealt with foreign policy, this presidential hopeful would name Putin, Xi Jingping, or Kim Un Jung. Nope.
“I tell the story often — I get asked, ‘Who’s the most dangerous person in the world? Is it Chairman Kim, is it Xi Jinping?’ The most dangerous person in the world is Randi Weingarten,” Pompeo said.
Randi who???
“Pompeo said Monday that American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten is ‘the most dangerous person in the world,’ prompting disbelief from the union chief,” Huffington Post reported on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 (read story here).
“It’s not a close call,” he said. “If you ask, ‘Who’s the most likely to take this republic down?’ It would be the teacher’s unions, and the filth that they’re teaching our kids, and the fact that they don’t know math and reading or writing.”
So get this: If you’re a teacher, you’re teaching kids filth, you don’t know math, and can’t read or write. Mike Pompeo says so.
If you’re a teacher it’s a fairly short step, not a long leap, from this to someone throwing a brick through your home’s window. Or worse.
Republicans have incited hatred, threats, and violence against health workers, election workers, and now teachers. There are some deranged people out there who listen to this stuff and take it to heart. The shootings — with guns Republicans put in their hands — don’t stop. This is awful, just awful.
