Isolated from the civilized world, this valley lies at elevations of 8,000 to 10,000 feet, has very harsh winters, and is populated by subsistence farmers. Its head end is blocked by a mountain over 25,000 feet high. Beyond that massive peak lie even higher mountains. (Click to enlarge)
