Republicans talk about responsibility; let’s make them practice it. They had a chance to ban assault weapons, or at least raise the age for buying them. They refused. Solution? Vote against them until they straighten out.
(Note: Conservatives are explicit about why they, as private citizens, “need” military weapons: To overthrow a government they consider “tyrannical.”)
And what to do about a Supreme Court that McConnell and Trump packed with arch-conservatives who allow states to prohibit abortions in “pro-life” disguise, but not regulate guns to save lives? There are solutions for that, too, if we tell Democratic politicians to stop pussyfooting around.
