A Florida woman’s conspicuous attire helped New York City police nab her after she went on a pepper-spray spree against Asian-Americans.
Madeline Barker (photo, right), 47, of Merritt Island, Florida, was charged with hate crimes for taunting the victims to “go back to your country” and pepper-spraying them.
That incident, an apparently unprovoked attack on four young women, was caught on video (below) and led to her arrest.
A victim of that attack subsequently heard from someone who accused the suspect of attacking three other people, including a 13-year-old girl, about an hour earlier. See story here.
