Taking Republican nihilism to a new level, a New Hampshire candidate for U.S. Senate says he’ll vote against everything.
Bruce Fenton (photo, left), who made a name for himself by making a killing in Bitcoin, is an adherent of the “Free State Movement” (details here), a libertarian bunch who believe “the maximum role of civil government is the protection of individuals’ life, liberty, and property.”
That can include a lot of things, so it’s not clear why he’s against everything government does.
But there’s a word of that: Anarchy.
Fenton is running for a seat currently held by Sen. Maggie Hassan, a former New Hampshire governor, who is running for re-election. She is a Democrat and slightly leads in polling in what’s expected to be a close race in November (details here).
