Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who’s disappointed in nearly everything she votes for, but keeps voting for it anyway, called the cops because someone chalked a message on the sidewalk in front of her home asking her to “please” support women’s abortion rights. (See story here.)
On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, she joined other Senate Republicans in voting against a bill that would enshrine abortion rights in federal law (see that story here).
Collins tries to sell herself to Maine voters as a moderate, pro-choice Republican. She’s nothing of the sort. She’s one of the most duplicitous politicians in the country.
