“Trump appears to be fundraising for a new plane after his private jet made an emergency landing over the weekend,” Huffington Post reported on Thursday, March 20, 2022 (read story here).
Because one of its engines crapped out in flight. (I know what you’re thinking, but don’t say it out loud.) Hey, wait, that’s not even his plane; it was “loaned to Trump by a Republican donor.”
His plane is an inoperable derelict parked at a New York airport (photo below, see story here).
Trump’s Save America PAC sent an email on March 9 soliciting donations for a new one. But you’re not supposed to know about it. The project, you see, is super-secret.
“The construction of this plane has been under wraps — not even the fake news media knows about it,” he announced. However, he claims you can see it by clicking on a link that takes you to a donation page.
There’s some question about how “new” it is. He says his junk plane is “now being fully restored and updated and will be put back into service sometime prior to the end of the year. It will be better than ever, and again used at upcoming rallies.”
You gotta hand it to him, getting your very own private jet free is better than paying for it. Why, for that price, even you could afford one! Borrowing a page from high-living evangelists, he aims to get his devoted suckers fans to pay for it with their cat food money.
I wrestled with whether to post the donation link here. I’m conflicted about that. Hmm … nahh. Just insert coins in his gaping mouth, which never closes. Or, better, hang onto your cat food money, you need it more than he does. He’s a billionaire; or at least, he keeps telling us he is.
