Residents of a 6-story condo building in Waukesha, Wisconsin were evacuated on Thursday, December 3, 2021, after structural engineers inspected the structure and found it was “in imminent danger of collapsing,” ABC News and local media reported (see story here).
“We don’t want a Florida here,” officials said (details here).
The building was identified as “Horizon West,” where according to Zillow a 2-bedroom unit on the third floor is currently listed for $110,000.
I’d rather bunk down in the Victorian house next door, which Remax says has 5 bedrooms and 2 baths in 4,600 square feet, and currently has a market value of $298,300, but isn’t for sale.
