Did an airliner hit the Pentagon?

Yes. Unequivocally, yes.

Conspiracy theorists refuse to believe it. Some people drink fish tank cleaner or eat horse pills to “cure” Covid-19. There are lots of gullible, stupid people in the world.

The evidence that a hijacked airliner crashed into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, is irrefutable. Let’s start with these questions:

  • American Airlines Flight 77, a Boeing 757, took off from Washington D.C. for Los Angeles that morning and never arrived at its destination. If it wasn’t flown into the Pentagon, where did it go, into thin air? Through a time warp into another dimension?
  • What caused the damage to the Pentagon, if not a plane? What caused the huge fireball, if not jet fuel? What explains the pieces of plane wreckage found on the Pentagon lawn?

All sorts of arguments have been advanced as to why a Boeing 757 “couldn’t” have hit the Pentagon. They’re debunked here. And there’s these facts:

  • Ground controllers lost radio contact with Flight 77. Passengers using cellphones called family members and told them it had been hijacked.
  • Radar showed the plane “turning and descending rapidly” toward Washington D.C.
  • At the request of ground controllers, an Air National Guard pilot flying a C-130 followed the plane, identified it as an American Airlines jet, saw the fireball when it crashed, and reported it had hit the Pentagon.
  • Numerous witnesses on the ground observed a low-flying plane, and saw it hit the building.
  • The missing airliner’s black boxes were retrieved from inside the damaged building, and while no portion of the tape in the cockpit voice recorder survived, the flight data were recovered from the flight data recorder.
  • Remains of crew and passengers aboard the missing airliner were recovered from the Pentagon crash site and positively identified. (Of the 189 persons killed at the Pentagon, 125 worked in the building and 64 were aboard the plane, including the 5 hijackers. A total of 184 sets of remains were positively identified.)

It’s impossible the American Airlines Flight 77 that went missing after taking off from Dulles Airport on September 11, 2001, did not crash into the Pentagon that morning. It isn’t debatable.

The plane clipped 5 light poles, hit the ground first, then slammed into a recently renovated section of building with 24-inch-thick walls reinforced with steel girders and anti-shrapnel mesh. It hit the outer wall between the first and second floors, penetrated the three outer rings of the five-ring building, and after about 30 minutes of intense fire the upper floors and roof collapsed into the impact cavity. Most of the aircraft disintegrated into small pieces of aluminum upon impact that were burned up in the fire. A few pieces, clearly from an airplane, knocked off by the impact with the light poles and ground were found on the lawn outside (see photo below).

The only conspiracies are the conspiracies to spread conspiracy theories. If you believe the Pentagon wasn’t hit by a hijacked airplane, you may also believe Covid-19 vaccines contain microchips the government uses to track people, and horse pills will save you if you get infected. If you’re one of those people, I have news for you. The government doesn’t care what toilet you sit on today to purge your bleach enema, because you’re too stupid to be useful to any foreign government or terrorist group. You matter only to the people earning a lucrative livelihood from selling conspiracy books and merchandise.
