Greece is sweltering in its “most protracted and intense heat wave in three decades,” with triple-digit temperatures, and the “scale of Greece’s wildfires has been breathtaking.” Firefighters and aircraft are being sent from France, Ukraine, Cyprus, Croatia, Sweden, Israel, Romania, Switzerland, Egypt, Czechoslovakia, and Spain.
