Just a CG cutter with a pretty backdrop. The Douglas Munro is being retired after 49 years of service, most recently in Alaskan waters (read story here). Its namesake, the Coast Guard’s only Medal of Honor hero (read about him here), is buried in his hometown of Cle Elum, Washington.
