Michigan Covid-19 cases up 3x in a month

Michigan’s Covid-19 infection rate has risen from 2,000 to 6,000 a day over the last month, Daily Mail reported on Monday, April 12, 2021. About 70% of those involve the so-called U.K. variant, now the most prevalent Covid-19 strain in the U.S. An infectious disease expert partly blames Michigan’s worst-in-country outbreak on “a lack of following public health measures such as not wearing masks.” Read story here.
