People with a history of allergic reactions to “a vaccine, medicine, or food” shouldn’t receive Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine, British health authorities warned on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, after two U.K. health care workers suffered allergic reactions. Both had a history of severe allergic reactions and carried EpiPens.
The warning is being reported by numerous news media; read the CBS News story here. The potential reaction apparently is limited to people prone to allergic reactions, and “should not make the general public anxious, experts have said,” Newsweek reported (here).
