It’s all but official, and the trappings of a President-Elect are accumulating around Joe Biden.
A “national defense airspace” restriction has been put in place over his Delaware home, and more Secret Service agents have been sent there.
CNN’s John King called Pennsylvania “decisive,” and Trump’s chief economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, said he expects a peaceful transfer of power.
But perhaps the most telling unofficial announcement of Biden’s impending victory is this one:
“Fox News, the cable channel that has been one of President Trump’s most important supporters, has instructed its anchors not to call Joe Biden the “President-elect” when the network calls the race, according to two memos obtained by CNN Business. The memos said that Fox should “stay away” from using the description, and instead say something Biden has “enough electoral votes to win the presidency.”
