Major business groups have been planning their response “if Trump continues to question the election results,” CNN Business reported on Friday afternoon, November 6, 2020, adding, “These business leaders are aware that they can impact the peaceful transition of power.”
The discussions have included the Business Roundtable (a CEO group), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the AFL-CIO, according to CNN Business.
Thursday night, after Trump spoke, the NAM urged “faith in our institutions” and alluded to “our democratic process.”
