Paul Ng, a condo resident in Scottsdale, Arizona, confronted two black guys on a public street who apparently got too close to his residence for (his) comfort and told them they didn’t belong there because they were in a “no n—– zone.”
When they accused him of being a racist, Ng pointed to himself and said matter-of-factly, “I’m a racist.”
Ng’s nominal employer, a Scottsdale realty office, severed its relationship with him, but he hadn’t been selling homes recently anyway. Ng’s explanation to police, who charged him with harassment, indicates he assumed they were “rioters” because they’re black. No riot or disorder was occurring.
It is, sadly, illustrative of what even law-abiding black people have to put up with from racists when going about their daily business and engaged in innocent activities. Read story here.
