The University of Washington (photo below) is 8th in the world in U.S. News and World Report’s annual rankings of nearly 1,500 universities and colleges, and “ranked 5th in geosciences; 6th in microbiology, immunology, infectious diseases and clinical medicine; 7th in social sciences and public health; 8th in microbiology, pharmacology and toxicology; and 9th in computer sciences,” the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported on Friday, October 23, 2020.
