Kayleigh McEnany, Trump’s press secretary, got fact-checked again. Tough job, that. Maybe too much for her.
She said in a press briefing on Thursday, October 1, 2020, that Amy Coney Barrett “is a Rhodes scholar.” Well, yes and no. Barrett didn’t get a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford, but she graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee.
So, while she wasn’t a Rhodes Scholar, she was a scholar at Rhodes.
