Marjorie Taylor Greene, a QAnon believer praised by Trump as a “future Republican star” and likely to be elected to Congress this fall, was a blogger who promoted conspiracy theories, claimed “Pizzagate” (an alleged child sex trafficking ring) was for real, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting was “a massive false flag,” and asserted that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “could be executed” for treason.
While Greene won the GOP primary in a district that votes nearly 80% Republican, which appears to assure her election in November, Democrats likely will continue to control the House, and can expel members for misconduct. This includes making threats against other House members. So she might not be there very long if she shoots off her mouth. And she’s someone who can’t not shoot off her mouth. They could even refuse to seat her based on her past comments.
Greene, who likes guns (photo), also could get tossed for bringing a gun into the chamber — into jail. Guns are illegal there. The U.S. Capitol Police hasn’t forgotten that in 1954 four Puerto Rican nationalist opened fire from the gallery, wounding 5 members. They’re touchy about people bringing in guns.
