David Pecker, the National Enquirer boss who bought and then buried stories unflattering to Trump, a practice labeled “catch and kill,” has been sacked by the tabloid rag’s new owners. The tabloid, which like all print media is struggling financially from declining circulation and advertising revenue, has traveled through a twisted trail of ownership changes in the last few years.
