Which reminds me of an old political joke.
Two congressmen, a novice and a veteran, were flying home. As they approached the novice’s district, he turned to the veteran and said, “I have an idea! I’ll write my name on a $20 bill, throw it out, and make one of my constituents happy.” The veteran nodded, and replied, “Good idea, but ask the stewardess to break that $20 into twenty $1s, write your name on them, and make twenty of your constituents happy.” The novice exclaimed, “Yeah! I get it!” At that point, the passenger behind them said: “I’m one of your constituents. Can I make a suggestion? Why don’t you throw yourself out and make all of us happy?”
