Another Republican has blocked disaster relief for millions of suffering Americans. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) gave no reason for holding up the $19 billion bill, which Trump has said he’ll sign, other than saying House Speaker Pelosi should have scheduled a vote on it before the Memorial Day recess if it was all that important. In the Senate, which has already passed the bill, Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) blasted his fellow Republican, accusing him of putting his “own self-interest ahead of the national interest” and calling his actions “pathetic.” Read story here.
