Kim Demands Removal of Pompeo From Talks

Pyongyang after Pompeo visited NK in July last year, condemned Pompeo for his “gangster-like” behavior. In a recent US Senate hearing, the US chief diplomat  insulted the man NL calls its ‘highest majesty’ by referring to the Dear Leader as a “tyrant.”

Pompeo “reckless” and “immature,” NK  foreign ministry

While launching more missile tests and apparently making more atomic bombs, Kim Jung Un is focussing on the Dear Leader’s personal relationship with Don John Trump. In contrast, they demonize Trump’s appointed Secretary of State.

“I am afraid that, if Pompeo engages in the talks again, the table will be lousy once again and the talks will become entangled,” “Therefore, even in the case of possible resumption of the dialogue with the US, I wish our dialogue counterpart would be not Pompeo but… (another) person who is more careful and mature in communicating with us. We cannot be aware of Pompeo’s ulterior motive behind his self-indulgence in reckless remarks; whether he is indeed unable to understand words properly or just pretending on purpose.” Kwon Jong Gun, director general of the ministry’s Department of American Affairs said, responding to a question from NK  journalists.

“We’re serious about working with you for what we think is your real ambition — to be a wealthy East Asian country.” Fon John

Kwan went on,  “The US cannot move us one iota by its current way of thinking. In his previous visits to Pyongyang, Pompeo was granted audiences with our Chairman of the State Affairs Commission for several times and pleaded for the denuclearization.  However, after sitting the other way round, he spouted reckless remarks hurting the dignity of our supreme leadership at Congress hearings last week to unveil his mean character by himself, thus stunning the reasonable people.”

Kim said last week he was open to talks with Trump only if Washington came with the “proper attitude”.

Talks are good. This is unfortunately typical North Korean diplomatic style. Probably to delay as they are on the receiving end of some of their own tactics. Such as the President actually breaking off talks. I am sure a simple answer of Pompeo is the Secretary of State, and if you wish dialogue he will be involved. By the way how is that tear down of sites going and when will the inspectors be allowed in, and we can always move beyond dialogue, maybe test Mao’s theory that all power comes from a gun.
