It is false to write of Trump’s behavior as not being fascist because he has not created concentration camps. Neither did Mussolini, Duterte, Pétain, Putin, or Quisling. McCarthy did not get the chance and for that I am grateful to the patriotic Americans who stood up to “uncle Joe.”
What all fascists share is national exceptionalism, chauvinism, demonization of others, and a plutocracy that brings the uber wealthy to power. So YES this >IS< what fascism looks like and as a veteran and son of a WWII hero who worked with Eisenhower and liberated Buchenwald, I am scared for MY country.
