As many as 50% of Seattle’s street people include school age children. How do we change the law so that children are not allowed to live on the streets?
It is absurd to believe that a third grader who lives in Ma’s chevy on some back street has an equal opportunity at an education.
I think we need to provide housing for families with school age kids.
Whys is it so absurd? Have you never heard of that Hucklebury Finn fellow? These children are being given a grand opportunity to follow I Huck’s footsteps. Or in the footsteps of Pippi Longstocking. Perhaps we ought to make sure all children have a stretch of homelessness in their life.
