Trump rallies are staged propaganda events designed to create an image of Trump as a popular leader. There’s no informational content or interaction between the leader and the led. Going there to offer feedback on his policies is a gross misconception of the purpose of the event. It’s a stage, you’re an actor (unpaid, of course), and if you don’t play your role according to the script, “You’re fired!” So, if you want to be in one of these dramas, you must clap and cheer on cue like all the other red hats.
