Judge says he’s been threatened

Won’t release jurors’ names for their safety

Judge T. S. Ellis, a senior judge in the Eastern District of Virginia, was appointed by President Reagan. A native of Colombia, he graduated from Princeton and Harvard Law, and was a naval aviator before becoming a commercial litigator.

Manafort has a second trial scheduled to begin in a D.C. District Court in September.
