Told to “go back to your own country”
He was visiting relatives and went for a walk in the neighorhood. While passing a woman and her child on the sidewalk, he accidentally bumped the child, according to a witness.
The woman accused him of trying to snatch her child, pushed him to the ground, then clubbed him with a concrete brick. She was soon joined by several men who stomped his head. He suffered a broken jaw and other injuries.

Update: Laquisha Jones, 30, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, infliction of injury, and elder abuse. Jones, on probation for a 2017 conviction of making criminal threats, faces up to 29 years in prison if convicted.
