Boris Johnson, the UK’s version of Trump, is taking aim at China. The blow dried hairdo, the British foreign secretary, said that when Britain’s two new ships come into service they will be sent to the them on a freedom of navigation operation to the South China Sea.
Then, in a Trump like manner, Johnson continued confused listeners “We haven’t yet quite decided to do that … but they are coming. …. look at those vessels – they are not only longer than the entire Palace of Westminster but, I think you will agree, they are more persuasive than most of the arguments deployed in the House of Commons.”
Johnson, however, warned “I don’t want you to to go out and start scanning the horizons. But they are coming, they are coming. Don’t expect them tomorrow.”
