Dan Foreman, an Idaho state senator, berated a group of University of Idaho students who drove 300 miles to meet with him and other legislators about two pending bills relating to birth control and sex education. Instead of listening to them, Foreman angrily ranted against abortion and threatened to call police if they ever came to his office again. (Lobbying a legislator on pending legislation is a crime in America? Really?) Read story here and here, and watch video below.
Angry rants by Foreman, a retired Air Force colonel and former police officer, are nothing new. In the second video below, he calls liberals “nuts.” The guy not only is intolerant of divergent viewpoints but also appears to have a big league anger problem. Frankly, I think the Idaho Senate leadership should request a mental evaluation, or at least encourage him to attend an anger management class.
