A new History Channel documentary claims a letter proves longtime suspect Robert Rackstraw is D. B. Cooper. If they’re right, Cooper survived the jump and is still alive. Rackstraw is a plausible suspect: He resembles the police sketch, was an Army paratrooper, and has a criminal record. But a flight attendant from that famous hijacking says Rackstraw isn’t Cooper. And some people may struggle to believe that a man in a business suit could jump from a 727 into freezing air over rugged forested terrain and live to deny he did it. Read story here.
