A 28-year-old man was killed at his Wichita home Thursday by a SWAT team responding to a prankster’s call about a hostage situation at the home. The victim wasn’t armed, and was shot when a cop with an itchy trigger finger thought he was reaching for his waistband, even though no weapon was seen.
