Trump’s economic adviser Gary Cohn says, “If you allow a family to keep another thousand dollars of their income, what does that mean? They can renovate their kitchen. They can buy a new car.”
Cohn is peddling Trump’s tax “reform,” which of course is the standard GOP fare of cutting taxes on the super-rich and throwing a bone to the working classes. Read story here.
