A new USA Today poll shows Americans are evenly split 42% – 42% on whether Trump should be removed from office.
It also shows 34% of Americans will be upset if he’s forced out, while 34% will be upset if he remains in office. But expectations of Trump completing his term are starker: Only 27% believe he will, while 46% think he won’t. Read story here.
Of course, this is where things stand before Trump fires the attorney general and special prosecutor, which all of Washington now expects; and in the early stages of the investigations before any of his inner circle have been indicted, which Trump himself must expect, or he wouldn’t be discussing pardons with his aides.
