Legal Thuggery Under the Bar

Law student who turned her life around can’t take bar exam because of her past

Tarra Simmons, a nurse and mother of three, survived drug addiction, divorce, loss of her house and served 20 months behind bars.  In prison she became excited by lawyers.  She went on to win virtually every academic award a student can . She did her time, then made huge achievements in law school.

What the Bar saw  is not easily apparent, but I have dealt with so many attorneys who bend the rules of their profession  that I can not bevel attorneys think they are seen a paragons of =ethical virtue.  I wonder whether such a a  member might not make unique contributions to profession that seems to me to have deep problems with its own casuistic definition of who is ans is noy qualified.
